What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pallet Shelters - Coordinator position at Northern Valley Catholic Social Service?
As a Coordinator, you will play a crucial role under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the position's primary responsibilities are 1) to provide relations between the program, the community, and any other applicable parties, and 2) to develop and administer the program itself.
Examples of Duties:
General Responsibilities to meet primary
- Coordinating the administration and implementation of the program;
- Collaborating with community service agencies to develop and implement the program;
- Recruiting, screening, training, coordinating, and supervising volunteers;
- Coordinating external relations with the community;
- Coordinating workshops for clients;
- Transporting clients to and from the Center;
- Developing and monitoring a budget in consultation with the Program Manager; Collecting and reporting data to county on a monthly basis regarding the use of services and expenses; Developing a network of services, donations, and volunteers from community-based organizations to ensure continuation of the program; Meeting all federal, state and local obligations regarding operation of the program; Assisting the Program Manager in developing protocols, policies, and procedures; Maintaining a sense of teamwork among volunteers and staff as well as among staff and service providers;

Minimum Employment Qualifications:
- High School diploma and Two years’ experience in field related to the program, including experience working with volunteers.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Google platforms and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
