As a Facility Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within our facility. Your role is crucial in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform regular cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting all areas of the facility.
- Trash Disposal: Properly collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials in designated bins.
- Surface Care: Clean and sanitize surfaces including desks, tables, countertops, and windows.
- Restroom Maintenance: Ensure that restrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and sanitized regularly.
- Floor Care: Maintain cleanliness of floors by washing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and report inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed.
- Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to requests and emergencies such as spills and leaks.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to complete larger cleaning projects or tasks outside of regular duties.
- Reporting: Keep accurate records of cleaning activities and report any issues to management promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cleaner or similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to handle and operate cleaning equipment and machinery.
