Job Summary
The Stagecraft student will manage the workspaces related to Stagecraft such as: the costume and makeup rooms, the workshop and sewing room. The student will maintain these rooms, and supervise other students in these spaces out-of-hours so they may complete their own independent projects.

Lauren Graffin Estrada, Theater Instructor
Education/Qualifications
- Good Conduct and Academic Standing with the college
- Sheridan College Student currently enrolled
- Cumulative GPA is 2.0 or greater
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
The student worker should:
- Have a working knowledge of the workshop and safety procedures related to the machinery within
- Have a responsible and professional attitude in the workspaces
- Be willing to learn new skills in relation to building and construction in theatre
- Must maintain tidy and orderly workspaces, dedicating time to the cleanliness and management of said spaces
- Be a self-starter who can work independently during work hours to complete specified projects
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work 8-12 hrs a week depending on availability and production schedule.
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds

Responsibility/Duty
The Stagecraft Theatre Student Technician duties will include:
- Space oversight and monitoring the scene shop, sewing room, and costume/make-up spaces; assistance in the WYO Theatre as needed.
- Minor weekly cleaning/maintenance of Scene Shop and Production Studios.
- Potential TA responsibilities preparing materials and spaces for upcoming projects and productions.
