Job Summary
The Occupational Therapist directs the assessment, treatment, planning and implementation of therapy services to patients of all ages, utilizing current knowledge, theory, evidence and sound clinical judgment. Works closely with the patient, family and other members of an interdisciplinary team to provide efficient and effective individualized patient care. Serves as an educator and mentor of therapy students, peers and other medical professionals. Assist with department and program planning.
Compensation
We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. This position has a flat rate, with compensation based on market analysis and other role and internal factors. The hourly wage for this position is $50.03. This reflects the base salary for this position.

Conducts an appropriate evaluation of the patient and develops age appropriate functional goals and treatment plan.

Provides timely discharge planning including equipment needs assessment, identification of community resources where needed and completion of home program/discharge summary.

Develops appropriate treatment interventions and provides treatment at a level consistent with current therapy practice.

Delegates and provides appropriate supervision of established plan of care to support personnel.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members regarding patient progress, response to treatment, goals and program changes.

Presents pertinent therapy information in patient care conferences and team meetings.
Qualifications

Licensed by the Minnesota Board of Occupational Therapy Practice

National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification

Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers Certification (or obtained within six months of hire, company paid)
Schedule
-
Casual/Call; varying weekday shifts between 7:30 AM-5:30 PM

Minimum of one (1) weekend per quarter
- Additional shifts in the acute care hospital setting may be available to pick up, if desired.
