GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Data Entry Administrative Assistant will apply administrative expertise and manufacturing experience, combined with experience in Microsoft Office and proficiency in data entry to ensure consistent support to the NorthGate team. This position is expected to provide accurate administrative and administrative support, performing scheduling tasks as well as creating ways to use organization skills to streamline daily tasks and create efficiencies within the department. The position will have the opportunity to build relationships with our team and customers through proficient written and verbal communication skills, coordination of schedules, administration of reports and presentations, as well as timely coordination of data entry requirements. Performs related work as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform data entry requirements with less than 1% error in accuracy.
- Must be able to type 200 - 250 CPM.
- Make sure all Dealer orders are pulled, and on time, including Daily Report to the customer.
- Employee must be very detail oriented, able to multitask and have problem solving abilities
- Must be a good communicator
- Help with daily, weekly, and monthly reports sent to customer.
- Create and keep track of all international orders.
- Evaluate and enter re-open applications in customer systems.
- ASN shipments to the customer facilities via customer systems.
- Enter scrap into customer systems.
- Auditing work to ensure accuracy.
- Receive Material into ERP system.
- Material Receipts in customer systems
- Tracking data for customer metrics.
- Back up to lead admin
- Back up for shipping office for lunch hours and vacations.
- Participate in Level 10 meetings.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and key boarding skills especially the 10-number keypad.
- Proficient in mathematical, counting and reading skills.
- Ability to be detail oriented.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Must have reliable transportation
- High school diploma
PREFERRED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
- Familiarity with customer programs.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Previous data entry experience.
- College experience and/or 2 years production experience.
DATA ENTRY AND TYPING PROFICIENT TESTING:
- Must demonstrate proficiency in office products
- Must demonstrate speed in typing accuracy
