Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing Human Resources functions such as recruiting, employee data maintenance, benefits and termination procedures. Provides support and guidance to facility management and employees with a focus on consistent employment practices that correctly apply state and federal law, including ADA, FMLA,EEOC, unemployment management and workers compensation. Manages and directs subordinate staff to identify goals and objectives. Possesses excellent communication and writing skills.
Responsibilites Summary:
- Coordinate of employee benefits. Coordinate and facilitate annual enrollment meetings and demonstrate an understanding of company employee benefits and assist employees with questions. Understand COBRA requirements.
- Coordinate investigation process regarding employee complaints, disciplinary issues, and recommend next steps regarding employee relation items with both employees and supervisors.
- Run all HR reports
- File EEO-1 annually; maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings as necessary.
- Respond to Department of Labor requests.
- Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employee data maintenance, benefits and other HR functions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Humana Resources or related field.
Skills: In-depth knowledge of Humana Resources practices. Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously within inflexible time frames. Ability to adapt to frequent priority changes.
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years human resources professional experience; experience in a hospital setting strongly preferred
