Key Responsibilities:
The IT Manager will guide, mentor, and train IT Support staff, including assigning tickets and prioritization for onsite IT Support staff. Additionally, this position will work with other locations on issues and equipment inventory.
Work also involves providing professional and efficient helpdesk support. This role will assist with standardizing helpdesk services and procedures and streamlining any discovered inefficiencies. In addition, they are charged with keeping the company up to speed with best practices in IT standards and guidelines while managing and troubleshooting IT systems.
The IT Manager will oversee on-call rotation for IT Support staff and will be the first point of contact for IT Support staff on call when an issue arises. In addition, this position will identify complex problems, research, solve and follow up.
The IT Manager is responsible for resolving end-user systems support issues related to their computing and application needs. This position will succeed by delivering professional, courteous support to ensure employees can perform their jobs efficiently and effectively.
