About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for leading the development and optimization of our Salesforce platform to improve efficiencies and enhance the overall user experience. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will work closely with various departments to understand business requirements, design effective solutions, and customize the platform to meet evolving needs. Key responsibilities include configuring and maintaining Salesforce features, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, providing user support and training, and managing system upgrades and security. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong technical expertise and a commitment to driving business process improvements through Salesforce.
Location Requirement: This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence at our St. Cloud, MN location on a weekly basis. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of be willing to relocate prior to their start date.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain custom Salesforce processes, including flows, validation rules, and formula fields to support business operations.
- Customize and test Salesforce objects, fields, record types, page layouts, flows, and workflows in collaboration with business leaders to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into scalable Salesforce solutions, and coordinate with developers for complex customizations when needed.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data quality and integrity within Salesforce through proactive monitoring and data management best practices.
- Administer user accounts, roles, profiles, and permissions to maintain appropriate access controls and security.
- Provide training and create documentation to enhance user experience, drive adoptions, and support ongoing Salesforce proficiency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support, troubleshooting user issues, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee system upgrades, releases, and technical deployments, ensuring minimal disruption and alignment with business objectives.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role, with hands-on experience in Salesforce configurations, customizations, and automation tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to optimizing Salesforce functionality and addressing business needs.
- Proven project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and highly organized, capable of planning and handling competing priorities efficiently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a strategic perspective and align solutions with broader business objectives.
- Solid understanding of data structures, data modeling, and database schema concepts.
- Fast learner with a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new skills and adapt to evolving technologies.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Salesforce Administrator, including configuration and user support
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or relevant certifications
Preferred Knowledge
- Proficiency in creating and managing flows, including screen flows, as well as designing and customizing page layouts and email templates.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools such as triggers, Data Loader, Visualforce, and APEX is a plus.
- Experience supporting the full development lifecycle, including change management processes, thorough testing, and deploying configurations and customizations from sandboxes to production environments.
The total compensation package for this role includes a base salary in the range of $75,000-$90,000 annually, along with participation in our profit-sharing program, which is based on company and individual performance.
