Reconcile and review general ledger accounts and assist with financial statement preparationPrepare and maintain prepaid / accrual schedulesPrepare and enter monthly journal entries as part of closing out financial periodsCompile monthly and quarterly financial reports for NorthPoint and its investorsManage and forecast cash for vendor payments, including obtaining proper approvals and documentationCommunicate with property managers and investments team on coding invoices, getting approvals, making budget revisions, preparing ad-hoc reports, and providing other timely supportHelp prepare, maintain, and monitor operating budgets through our Yardi accounting systemBe able to understand intercompany transactions where there is a parent entity and subsidiaries in order to efficiently transfer cash and costs among those entitiesAbility to read and understand Operating Agreements and Management Agreements for billing structuresAssist with the preparation of annual tax returns and financial auditsDepreciate and amortize fixed and intangible assets using proper accounting principlesPrepare and process distribution calculations for our investorsAre you passionate about pushing the limits? Who You Are
Accounting or business degree requiredMaster's in business or accounting (completed or in progress) preferredCPA or desire to obtain a CPA license preferredTwo or more years of work experience preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer.
