Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to craft persuasive narratives and develop compelling grant proposals and reports. Also comfortable working with internal teams and external funders to ensure clarity and alignment.
Deep understanding of grant regulations, including reporting requirements for both governmental and private funding sources. Able to navigate complex compliance landscapes to ensure that all grants are managed correctly.
A self-motivated, results-oriented individual who takes ownership of projects and consistently delivers high-quality results. Able to work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring grant success and organizational impact.
Demonstrates respect and sensitivity for the cultural values, practices, and social experiences of diverse communities. Able to engage with different stakeholders and funders from a variety of cultural backgrounds effectively.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong, positive relationships with funders, partners, and internal colleagues. A skilled communicator who fosters trust and long-term collaboration.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with donor management databases like Bloomerang is a plus. Able to utilize technology to streamline processes, track progress, and manage the grant lifecycle.

General Job Statement : The Grant Manger serves as the primary point of contact for all aspects of grant acquisition and administration. The Grants Manager will work agency wide to identify potential grant opportunities, write grant proposals, manage the grants calendar, maintain relationships with funders, ensure compliance with grant guidelines, and collaborate to submit required reports to maintain funding.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field, and five (5) years of proven grant writing or fundraising, and grant management experience, required.
- Certified Grant Writer or CFRE, preferred.
- Proven track record of securing funding by writing successful grants, managing funder relationships, and grant reporting.
- Strong knowledge of grant processes, funding sources, and compliance regulations. (Federal, State, Foundations),
- Experience researching foundation and maintaining a grants calendar.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and experience using donor databases. Bloomerang experience is a plus.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized and possess strong time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with purpose and accuracy while effectively managing multiple assignments with stringent deadlines.
