What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Manager position at Northport Highlands?
We are a 41 bed Assisted Living community seeking a creative food service professional who will be responsible for providing a positive experience every day for residents in the dining room. The successful candidate will oversee the entire food service department including menu planning, food ordering, preparation and delivery as well as staffing, budgeting and sanitation. This is a hands-on position.
Requirements include
2 years’ experience in food service management and supervision in the hospitality or senior living industry would be ideal.
Must be an excellent cook, knowledge of food handling, operation of kitchen equipment, local and state health, and sanitation codes.
basic computer skills
Senior living experience highly desirable
Must be vaccinated!
