What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Social Media position at Northrock Financial Services LLC?
The Manager of Social Media & Story Telling at NorthRock will craft engaging, on-brand content for NorthRock’s social channels. With a deep understanding of multiple social media platforms, the Social Media Manager will help the NorthRock brands bring their stories to life while working closely with the various stakeholders inside and outside the organization. The ideal candidate for this role has a proven track record of elevating company and individual brands, has a passion for storytelling, a strong sense for design, photography, video, and can create strategies with measurable business results.
Essential Functions
- Create and implement content strategies and storylines across multiple social channels.
- Build and manage rich content calendars that reflect the individual strategies of each brand.
- Create compelling copy that fits with the voice and tone of NorthRock and each of its divisions.
- Capture visually interesting photos and videos that enhance each brand channel.
- Design posts that reflect the individual brands and enhance their reputations.
- Partner with executive leadership and advisors to extend their personal social media and brand.
- Analyze data to support insights, key takeaways, and optimizations on a regular basis and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
- Revise and build new strategies based on data-driven decisions.
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and share learnings with team members on a regular basis.
- Build relationships and networks in and outside of the organization, working collaboratively to shape the story we are collectively telling.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, or related communications field
- 5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, and/or Social Media
- Stellar copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong eye for design, photography, and good branding
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with analytics, planning, forecasting, and reporting
- Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment
- Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
- Ability to complete multiple requests and deliverables in a timely manner
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
- Effective verbal and written presentation skills
Preferred Experience
- Executive social coaching experience
- Experience running social within the sports and entertainment industry
- Experience working with Advisors to create their own personal social media plans
- Strategic planning and execution
Our Compensation & Benefits
- The estimated base pay salary rate for this role is $86,209 - $129,314 per year. Base salaries are determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, depending on the role, many roles are eligible for variable pay such as bonuses, commissions, and/or long-term incentives.
