Our competitive internship program attracts top undergraduate students interested in gaining invaluable exposure to the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) space. Over the course of 12 weeks, interns will gain real-world experience and relevant industry knowledge. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in challenging projects, interact with a variety of industry professionals, and further explore their interests in the financial services industry.
The Private Markets Intern will play a critical role in supporting the Private Capital Markets team by contributing to strategic initiatives, detailed research projects, and operational excellence. This internship provides hands-on experience in private markets, offering an opportunity to collaborate on high-impact tasks while learning from industry leaders. The intern will assist in research, project management, and communication efforts, gaining valuable insights into the dynamics of private capital markets.
Essential Functions
- Conduct detailed research on private market trends, opportunities, and strategies, compiling data into actionable insights.
- Support the implementation and tracking of strategic initiatives in alignment with the team’s goals.
- Assist in preparing clear and concise presentations, executive summaries, and client communications.
- Collaborate on planning and logistics for ongoing research strategies and special projects.
- Help manage scheduling, meeting preparation, and follow-ups for leadership.
- Research and recommend tools and technology to enhance operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders and external partners to support relationship management efforts.
- Track and manage expenses related to assigned projects, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Formal Education & Certification
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge & Experience
- Interest in financial services and private markets.
- Basic research and data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Our Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Part-Time/Temporary/Intern (Defined Hourly Rate)
The hourly rate for this role is $20.00 per hour. This role is also eligible for Employee Sick & Safe Time (ESST).
