What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider - APRN position at NorthShore University HealthSystem?
- Position: Nurse Practitioner, Inpatient Consult Liaison
- Location: Evanston and Skokie Hospital
- Full Time, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with one weekend a month
- Required Travel: Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals
What you will need:
- License:Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) in the State of IL required;FederalDEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License required
- Education:Completion of Masters level program in specialty area. PMHNP certification highly preferred.
- Certification:BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: Two (2) years of prior mental healthexperience preferred

- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease
- Promote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
- Work autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

- Compensation: Salary Range: $140,000 to $157,000 based on years on nurse practitioner or physician assistant experience
