EEG Technician, Respiratory
Position Highlights:
- Position: EEG Technician
- Hourly Pay Range: $24.21- $37.29. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
- Location: Northwest Community Hospital - Arlington Heights, IL.
- Full Time: 40 hours/week
- Hours: Days, Monday-Friday ( 9am - 5:30pm ),
General Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Respiratory Care and Neurodiagnostics, performs neurodiagnostics testing including electroencephalograms and multi-modality evoked potentials according to established procedures and standards. Participates in all quality assurance and improvement measures and processes. Accurately edits physiological data for test report.
What you will need:
- Education: High School or Equivalent Required
- Certification: Current BLS certification for healthcare workers.
- Experience: Formal education and training in electro-neurodiagnostic testing with demonstrated working knowledge of EEG, evoked potentials and continuous monitoring. Minimum of 6-months experience performing EEG testing with demonstrated ability to recognize ictal and inter-ictal electrographic patterns required. Board registered through ABRET, preferred.
