Key Responsibilities
Curriculum Delivery : Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, design, and other mediums.
Student Engagement : Foster a classroom culture that encourages creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for diverse artistic perspectives.
Skill Development : Teach foundational techniques and concepts in art, while encouraging students to develop their unique artistic voice.
Art Exhibitions : Organize and showcase student artwork in school-wide events and displays to celebrate creativity and achievement.
Assessment and Feedback : Evaluate student progress through projects, critiques, and portfolios, and provide constructive feedback to support growth.
Differentiation : Adapt instruction to meet the needs of students with varying artistic abilities and learning styles.

Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
Valid teaching certification for secondary art education (or ability to obtain certification before the start date).
Strong knowledge of visual arts techniques, history, and pedagogy.
Preferred :
Master’s degree in Art, Art Education, or a related field.
Experience teaching Advanced Placement (AP) Art or organizing portfolio development for college-bound students.
Familiarity with incorporating technology and digital media into art instruction.
