Responsibilities
Create, modify, and delete user access to electronic systems. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure quality. Create and maintain documentation on systems and processes.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs daily security administration activities, included but not limited to creating, disabling, modifying, or deleting accounts.
Participate in information security projects as directed by coordinator.
Conduct assessments and audits of user accounts and activity as required.
Participates in creation of security awareness training/education across organization.
Provides support to Information Systems or external personnel to resolve issues caused by information security infrastructure or systems including, but not limited to, redirecting users attempting actions that violate Northside policies.
Assists in development of security and operational procedures and processes to conform to proper change management techniques. Modifies and implements new methods as appropriate.
Maintains business continuity / disaster recovery plans, equipment, and procedures ready to deploy.
Produces daily and monthly reports for departmental and related functions, routinely tests systems, and provides organized documentation. Maintains downtime log to document security infrastructure outages.
Ensures security policies and procedures are followed by all network users. Notify supervisor or other IS management of suspected risks or actual violations.
Provides incident response support as required.
Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury‑accident to Manager.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Associate’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Business, or related technical field – OR -- One (1) year of experience in environment utilizing an assortment of relevant security technologies/practices including identity and access management, account management, and audit & assessment.
Ability to communicate effectively
Basic knowledge of compliance frameworks, audit/assessment processes, reporting methods, and project management.
Working knowledge of domain and application account management.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED
B.S. degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related field of study
Technical certifications; including CISA, HCISPP certifications
Identity and Access Management technology experience
Excellent analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
