What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support position at Northstar Behavioral Health Network?
Purpose Statement:
In this position, you will play a key role in enabling Northstar Behavioral Health to support and help people dealing with an opioid addiction. Your role is what makes it possible for us to follow our mission of service and continuing to help as many people as we can. Reports directly to the Operations Coordinator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Essential Functions)
- Collaborates with and follows directives given by the Operations Coordinator to:
- Ensure all service lines are entered and accurate
- Monitor payments; and
- Review progress and develop required changes in goals or objectives resulting from current status and conditions.
- All other duties assigned
Miscellaneous Responsibilities and Duties
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building
- Maintains up to date knowledge of laws and statues required by:
- Minnesota Department of Human Services 245G
- Minnesota Department of Transportation
- Applicable Minnesota Department of Health
- All other governing bodies
- Maintains appropriate communications within the area of responsibility.
- Practices a high level of confidentiality.
Required Skills and Experience (Minimum requirements in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge skills and abilities).
- Excellent organizational management skills.
- Proficient working knowledge of Procentive, Google Drive, Microsoft Office, general computer use or ability to catch on with ease.
- Successful completion of a background study in DHS.
- Free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding hire date and sign a statement attesting to that fact.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Might be eighteen years old.
- CPR and 1st Aid certified or willing to participate in courses provided by NBH.
Additional Skills and Experience (Preferred or helpful)
- Experience with 245G requirements.
