JOB DESCRIPTION
This role will assist the Project Team with the documentation and daily administration of the project.
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager(s) with planning, overseeing, and documenting construction activities for various Projects across the portfolio. Responsibilities include assisting in coordination of all activities of pre-construction, onsite construction management, 3rd party inspections, and project close-out. Assists with planning, monitoring and managing all aspects of multiple, small to large-scale construction projects including initiation, planning, execution, verification, and closure in accordance with internal process methodologies.
This individual will be responsible for completion of all assigned projects in a proactive and quality manner. The ideal individual must have a restaurant construction background and will maintain a focus on exceeding Client needs, expectations and schedules.
This position is Houston based with minimal travel required.
SUMMARY :
The Project Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for supporting a home office team with project planning and management. As an ideal candidate, you are highly organized with a proven history of project management. You are an outstanding communicator and work well with team members to achieve the best results for our client.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Supports the field and office through independent critical analysis of submittals, shop drawings and project plans and specifications
- Coordinates and tracks the RFI, ASI and IDC processes
- Creating and submitting WOs and POs as requested by senior personnel
- Assist in tracking project expenses and budget
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, and approvals
- Assisting with creation and submission of customer weekly reports
- Reviewing project daily reports for clarity and accuracy
- Follow-up and coordinate with team members and consultants
- Work closely with project managers, construction teams, and trade partners to facilitate smooth project execution
