EFDA dental assistant responsibilities include, but no limited to placement and finishing of composite restorations, taking impressions, fabrication of temporary crowns and bridges, coronal polishing and sealants, taking radiographs, sterilization of all instruments.
We are looking to hire for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's.
Experienced Expanded Function Dental Assistants are highly valued members of our clinical teams and contribute to many aspects of patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist in a range of dental procedures, including but not limited to restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and oral surgery treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
- Perform preliminary patient assessments, including taking and recording vitals, dental histories, and X-rays.
- Update and maintain patient records and treatment charts accurately and efficiently.
- Take accurate impressions or scans of patients' teeth for study models, crowns, bridges, and other dental prosthetics.
Qualifications:
- Licensed as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in PA
- Minimum two year experience in a general practice

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
