SUMMARY: Assist with miscellaneous office duties to include:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check in field paperwork as it comes in from outlying areas to ensure all paperwork is accounted for.
Scan and index all correspondence, field documents and crediting information on a daily basis.
Print invoices on a daily basis.
Review non-confirmed list and set confirmed runs to bill.
Print aging reports to send to nursing homes.
Maintain filing room.
Participate in Quality Improvement activities including audits, peer review and data collection activities.
Other duties as assigned by office supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
Working knowledge of HIPAA.
Ability to use Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
Able to adapt to change.
Able to prioritize work to meet goals and objectives within acceptable time frames.
