What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Night Auditor Hampton Inn Abingdon position at NorthStar Hospitality?
NorthStar Hospitality is looking for a Front Desk Night Auditor for our award-winning Hampton Inn Abingdon, VA location to serve as our guests’ first point of contact. This position will perform end-of-day accounting tasks and overnight front desk duties. The Front Desk Night Auditor will process guest check-ins/outs and reconcile financial activities for the day. This positiion is required to work some weekend shifts.
If you have a knack for customer service, are available to work the overnight shift and weekends, have a willingness to learn and growth mindset, we would like to hear from you.
Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests.

Night Auditor Responsibilities Include:
- Balancing the accounts from day shift
- Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preference
- Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly
- Creating invoices, bills and checks for vendors, employees and contractors
- Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role
- Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments
- Answering calls and queries related to potential booking
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures
- Advanced math and bookkeeping skills
- Ability to perform computer-based tasks such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing and billing
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Time management and multitasking skills

- Ability to solve problems and diffuse tense situations
