Duties:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Create engaging and interactive learning experiences for students
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student development
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain discipline and order
- Incorporate creative teaching methods, such as theater or sports coaching, to enhance learning
- Provide tutoring or additional support to students as needed
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times, including administering first aid when necessary
Requirements:
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Experience in childcare, daycare, or similar settings is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students in learning
