AAM - Sales Manager - Northway Toyota

We are seeking experienced candidates for the Sales Manager position for The Albany Auto Group , located in Latham , NY. The Sales Manager will have a commitment to customer service at the highest level. They will lead a sales team and are responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best Sales Consultants! The Sales Manager will drive a high-level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins. We offer a generous pay plan, and competitive benefits package! Earning potential $150,000 per year and up!

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Leading yourself and the team in a way that supports the company goals
•Ability to effectively manage all areas of used car department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing.
•Ability to forecast goals and objectives for pre-owned vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
•Possess strong closing abilities
•Understands and keeps abreast of federal, state, and local regulations.
•Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
•Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and best-practice processes
•Managing the negotiation process with Sales Consultants to ensure that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
•Partnering with the New Car Sales Manager, Finance Managers, and/or the General Sales Manager to motivate the sales staff
•Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance
•Other various duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
•Proven success in auto retail sales
•Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
•Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
•Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
•Organization and follow-up skills
•Experience and desire to work with technology
•Valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
