What are the responsibilities and job description for the Title Clerk position at Northway Toyota?
Northway Toyota, part of the Albany Auto Group (which includes Audi Albany and BMW of South Albany), is seeking a full-time TITLE CLERK for our Latham dealership!
Do you have experience working in a dealership working on completing paperwork related to sales? You will work directly with our sales consultants and F&I Managers to complete deals, stock new cars and trades. This is an integral position requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Prepare tax and title documents
- Submit all legal transfer documents to the state DMV(s)
- Receive and process paperwork from the F&I department
- Match MSO to title paperwork to submit to DMV(s)
- Prepare and post checks in accounting system
- Receive plates from DMV and expedite to dealerships/customers
- Compile weekly title in transit report in Microsoft Excel
- Light accounting- balancing accounts
- Professional communication skills
- Good computer skills
- Notary or the ability to obtain a Notary Public is a plus
Experience with CDK or another automotive software package preferred.
Must possess experience in a similar role with an automotive dealership.
