We are seeking a dedicated Group Facilitator to help us provide comprehensive intervention and preventative services for children, adolescents, and families in our community.

Group Facilitator Role

The Group Facilitator will plan, implement, and document mental health groups in compliance with certification guidelines, payer guidelines, and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, conduct, document, and develop group counseling sessions as required by certification, funding source, and program standards.
• Modify mental health groups to meet the age and developmental needs of the clientele.
• Participate effectively in clinical staffings and work as a treatment team member in delivering service to clients.
• Maintain an understanding of mental health concepts, psychotropic medications, and client symptomology to identify client needs and provide quality mental health services.
• Understand and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Complete mental health interventions as necessary and appropriate.
• Provide supervision and treatment of clients in accordance with least restrictive treatment measures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of one year of experience or formal education related to working with youth who have severe emotional disturbance or mental illness.
• A Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree.
• The ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
• Demonstrated positive and proactive problem-solving skills.
• The ability to receive and implement feedback.
• The ability to learn and adapt.
• The ability to work independently and within a team.
