Northwest Environmental is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with customer billing processes, resolving inquiries and concerns, processing payments, and managing collections. The primary focus will be on reducing accounts receivable delinquency, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely payments from our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review open accounts to identify overdue payments and take appropriate action.
- Make outbound collection calls and send emails professionally, maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Resolve client billing issues and accounts receivable delinquencies promptly.
- Process customer payments in accordance with payment schedules.
- Identify and address issues causing account delinquency and collaborate with management to resolve them.
- Provide timely follow-up on payment arrangements and document collection efforts.
- Maintain accurate account records and update management on account status.
- Communicate effectively with customers to encourage and secure payments for overdue accounts.
Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of corporate collections or accounts receivable experience, including managing a large customer base.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to a dynamic environment, and complete tasks with urgency.
- Prior experience in a telecommunications environment is a plus but not required.
Salary : $48,000 - $52,000
