Job Description:
General Purpose:
Provide pest control proposals to customers and close sales.
Position Responsibilities
Sitting for majority of shift in front of a computer on the phone with customers/potential customers.
Approximately 95% of the time will be speaking to and assisting customers.
Inbound and Outbound calls renew or start pest, weed, or rodent services.
Inside Sales Reps are responsible for processing payments, scheduling services for residential customers, notating accounts, and coordinating with other departments to assist customers.
Assist Inside Sales Manager with various projects/campaigns.
Knowledge of all State regulations and safety procedures.
Sell additional products and services to existing customers and recognize and report sales leads and opportunities to managers.
Coordinate with other departments and technicians to ensure completion and customer satisfaction.
Attend required training meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
High School diploma or GED required
Required Skills
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Proven customer service skills with prior experience
Basic computer, and email skills.
Ability to work in a team-based environment with good judgment and decision-making ability.
Self-starter work ethic and the able to work with minimum supervision to complete tasks.
Preferred Skills
Some prior pest control experience extremely beneficial.
Preferred sales experience.
POSITION Requirements
Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports.
Requires dexterity and data entry skills.
Expected to work 11am – 7pm Tuesday - Saturday, variable hours may apply during busier seasons or to accommodate customers.
