Responsibilities
The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful launch and completion of marketing communications campaigns that drive brand awareness and lead generation across our Family of Brands. The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for leading internal and external brand initiatives that maintain Customers for Life and brand loyalty. This teammate will ensure that all initiatives across our brands uphold the brand guidelines and the implemented brand strategy. You will analyze the success of ongoing campaigns and feel comfortable making quick decisions to optimize the campaigns for better results. You will be responsible for yearly marketing strategy results and will report to the Marketing Communications, Vice President.
Your goals as Brand Manager are to see to the successful execution of ongoing marketing communications campaigns, ensure the consistency of each brand across the multiple campaigns, needs, and initiatives, and lead efforts that create Customers for Life through extraordinary brand experiences supported by customer and internal facing initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to get projects across the finish line and ensure brand consistency across the company’s multiple initiatives.
This teammate will work closely with the Brand Strategy and Communications Director to ensure successful campaign execution, brand consistency, campaign reporting, and team support.
As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will be for our team, our customers, and our community by:
- Supporting the creation and implementation of the yearly marketing, advertising, and communication strategy for the Family of Brands
- Leading the execution of ongoing initiatives and campaigns within the brands, including internal initiatives
- Successfully executing and maintaining the yearly brand strategy and initiatives
- Leading the review and analysis of scheduled internal and external brand initiatives
- Maintain the brand identity, voice, and strategy throughout ongoing marketing and communications campaigns across the Family of Brands managed
- Manage the content development and execution amongst the maintained Family of Brands, including but not limited to, email marketing, content management and writing, website copy and updates
- Developing KPI’s for the Marketing Communications team to analyze the success of ongoing campaigns or pivot to reach impact within ongoing campaigns
- Manage members of the Marketing Communications team, along side the Brand Strategy Director, in a way that supports their overall growth, development, and success
- Maintain vendor relationships for ongoing execution of event marketing, collateral, traditional advertising, etc.
- Support the ongoing event calendars and work with the team to develop strategies to improve our local event experiences
- Working closely with the Good Deed Team and Brand Strategy Director to continue communications and initiatives that cast the vision of the Northwest Story and Brand
- Approve and support the day-to-day needs of managed brands, including, but not limited to, ongoing campaigns, content, social channels, creative, collateral, digital presence, etc.
- Support the approval of internal and external communications efforts to ensure plan execution
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed. As the Brand Marketing Manager, you will need to be agile and able to pivot quickly, as the rearrangement of priorities may occur to support the brand’s ongoing Southeast growth. This position will be interconnected with the Family of Brands Brand Strategy Director. Together, you two will ensure the long-term success of each brand and create a cohesive brand experience that is for our team, customers, and community.

Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
- Must embody the Northwest Way and Culture
- Previous agency experience and/or Brand Manager experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to think strategically/big picture
- Self-motivated and enjoys working both on a team and independently
- Previous experience managing a team and/or vendors
- Quick learner who isn’t afraid to ask questions, own their tasks, and develop the role
- Experience developing presentations, including PowerPoint, Prezi, etc.
- Superb organizational skills with attention to detail
- Team player who enjoys getting a project across the finish line while celebrating those around them
- Ability to prioritize and pivot quickly
- Ability to attend to multiple requests simultaneously and work in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to create internal and external relationships and work cross-functionally
- Enjoys solving problems and consistently elevating their work
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Associates and/or Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
Experience:
- 5 years related experience within a Marketing Communications role preferred
- Experience managing brand budgets, plans, and strategies
- Experience managing teams and/or vendor relationships
- Strong writing, editing, and communications skills for both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong plan development and organizational skills
- Desire to set our brands apart and be the leaders in the industry
- Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience ensuring consistency amongst brand campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness
