Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, driven, compassionate Family law attorney to join our dedicated legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic disputes. This role requires strong negotiation, and client advocacy skills. You will be responsible for guiding clients through complex legal situations while maintaining a high-level of compassion and client services.
Responsibilities
Pay: $120,000 – $175,000 per year, Quarterly bonus structure with additional incentives bonuses

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced, driven, compassionate Family law attorney to join our dedicated legal team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a variety of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and domestic disputes. This role requires strong negotiation, and client advocacy skills. You will be responsible for guiding clients through complex legal situations while maintaining a high-level of compassion and client services.
Responsibilities
- Independently represent clients in family law cases including divorce, and complex child custody disputes, with possible intricate financial, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health issues.
- Assess and create legal strategies based on client needs and appropriately adjust based on client's evolving situation.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, hearings, and trials.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues, other attorneys, and delegates appropriately to paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff.
- Maintain a minimum number of billable hours per quarter and year to ensure efficient case management.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
- Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients while maintaining professional and empathetic communications and client support.
- Stay updated on family law statutes and case law to provide high quality legal representation.
- Continue to grow your development by actively engaging in the family law community, professional development organizations, and contributing though leadership in this field.
- Be a representative of the firm's core values.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Comfortable with conflict and addressing conflict in a professional and expeditious manner.
- Progressive experience working in family law under an attorney in a law firm setting.
- Comfortable with billable hour requirements and delegating tasks to legal support
- Comfortable with practice management systems, billing, etc.
- Excellent organizational, time-management and client service skills
- Persuasive writing and verbal communication skills.
- Understand the nuances related to family law (with a basic understanding of the court procedures in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties)
Pay: $120,000 – $175,000 per year, Quarterly bonus structure with additional incentives bonuses
