Circulation Desk Assistant (Part-Time) - Northwest Florida State College

Job Description : The Part-Time Circulation Desk Assistant reports directly to the Director of Learning Resources and Library Services. The individual filling this position plays a positive role in helping the College and LRC (Learning Resources Center) carry out its mission.

• Greet customers at the circulation desk.
• Answer directional, informational, and circulation questions.
• Answer phone calls.
• Assist patrons with circulation-related duties.
• Assist patrons with printers and other technology.
• Communicate effectively with patrons, coworkers, and Learning Resources Center staff.
• Assist with maintaining stacks and shelving in the library.
• Assist with processing new materials.
• Open and / or close the building as scheduled.
• Assist with various projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements :
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer skills
