FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Chief Services Officer, the Director of Data Strategy, Quality, and Compliance oversees division-wide compliance for aging and community services.
The Director of Data Strategy, Quality, and Compliance is a cross-functional leader responsible for integrating data systems, driving insights, and ensuring regulatory compliance and service quality across the organization. This role leads our data strategy efforts, oversees quality assurance initiatives, and ensures compliance with relevant standards and policies. The Director will supervise the Manager of Compliance and Provider Relations, ensuring a coordinated approach to performance, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Data Strategy & Insights:
· Develop and implement a cohesive data strategy across departments to measure impact and outcomes with consistency, accuracy, and usability.
· Analyze cross-organizational data to inform strategic planning, program development, and collaborative operational decision-making.
· Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that enhance visibility and performance tracking for executive leadership and teams.
· Partner with internal stakeholders to identify key metrics, data gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Quality Improvement:
· Lead organization-wide quality improvement initiatives aligned with best practices and strategic goals.
· Monitor and report on service quality indicators; identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to enhance client outcomes.
· Implement and oversee systems for continuous quality assurance, including audits, outcome measurement, and staff training.
· Collaborate with program and operations teams to embed a culture of excellence and accountability.
Compliance & Risk Management:
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as contractual and accreditation standards.
· Supervise the Compliance and Provider Relations Manager in conducting internal reviews, audits, and corrective action plans.
· Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures; provide training and guidance across the organization.
· Support incident management, grievance resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
· Oversee the grievance, appeal and complaint hotline system and works with department leaders to resolve investigations within the incident reporting system.
Leadership & Collaboration:
· Supervise and support the Compliance and Provider Relations Manager.
· Foster cross-departmental collaboration to align data, compliance, and quality practices with organizational goals.
· Serve as a thought partner to the executive, strategic, planning and implementation teams on strategic initiatives, leveraging data and compliance insights to inform decision-making.
