Newly created individual contributor position to lead the Trade compliance program for an industry leader. 100% in office Indiana based position within commuting distance of Chicago.
EXPECTATIONS
Manage the company trade compliance program as the Subject Matter Expert
Serve as the sole contributor with ability to grow department
Manage mainly export compliance (no controlled goods so no export licenses)
Make ECCN classification determinations
Develop policies and procedures
Conduct trade compliance training
Conduct denied party screening and oversee deemed exports
Advise management on trade compliance issues
ESSENTIALS
Experience with export compliance required
Experience with denied party screening and deemed exports required
Experience developing policies and procedures
Experience with ECCN classification
Customs compliance experience helpful
Bachelor’s degree required
Relocation assistance available to northwestern Indiana
