TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT TO THE SUPERINTENDENT
SUPERVISOR: SUPERINTENDENT

JOB OBJECTIVE
- To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the Superintendent's Office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Have a high school diploma/equivalent or higher degree
- BCI/FBI Background Check

JOB FUNCTIONS
- Directly responsible to the Superintendent
- Maintaining daily clerical duties
- Completion of Board Agendas and ensure all information is communicated to the Board and the public
- Policy Updates
- Provide courteous service to staff, parents and the public
- Use the computer to maintain records, organize, word process, enter staff EMIS data within eFinance, etc.
- Handle some registration duties
- Create Job Postings
- Open Enrollment processing
- Maintain electronic personnel files
- Maintain BCI/FBI checks for employees
- Ensure Teacher Licensures are current, including coaches
- Assign OEDS roles
- Keep an accurate record of all staff absences and obtain correct forms from staff
- Complete payroll recap sheet
- Type correspondence
- Civil Rights reporting
- Scheduling appointments for the Superintendent
- Create requisitions
- Route all incoming mail and signature requests for the Superintendent
- Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- 260 days per year
- 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Starting Salary - $44,414
