Key responsibilities of this role include:
*Plans, coordinates, and implements the quality management and quality improvement programs for a healthcare facility. *Monitors and provides assistance with quality assurance and compliance functions.
*Provides consultation and direction to ensure programs and services are implemented at the highest standards and patients receive the highest level of care.
*Ensures policies and procedures are monitored and updated to include regulatory changes.
*Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
*Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
*Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
*Associate's degree, at least 4 years of experience, and is certified as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas.
*Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
