Quality Assurance Engineer
Northwest Partners is partnering with a premier client in the FinTech industry to hire an experienced full-time Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer . This role is critical in ensuring the quality and reliability of our client's cutting-edge mortgage and consumer loan servicing software products. You will work in a fast-paced QA environment, contributing to the next-generation lending experience through rigorous testing, collaboration, and innovation.
What YOU will do :
- Collaborate with development, product management, and delivery teams throughout the SDLC.
- Work as an individual contributor on QA teams, supporting project and product release efforts.
- Identify test scenarios based on defect tracking tools and project design documents.
- Participate in all phases of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Maintain API collections, execute API tests using POSTMAN, and contribute to the long-term vision for improved quality assurance.
- Document and communicate test results clearly and in detail.
- Report, triage, and resolve defects in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and regression test suites.
- Raise quality and schedule risks to management proactively.
- Work closely with offshore teams to ensure day-to-day work transitions effectively.
- Adhere to CMMI standards for quality and process improvement.
- Provide creative problem-solving and support for challenging business issues.
