Job Title: Regional Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Reports to: VP of Operations
Direct Reports: Branch Managers (assigned branches)
FLSA status: Exempt
Position Summary:
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of the Branch Managers and branches assigned to them. They may also be responsible for direct oversight of a specific branch. They provide direct support to the VP of Operations for various projects related to the operations of the business.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees the Branch Managers and provides support to assigned branch offices
- Monthly analysis of Follow Up compliance for assigned branches; takes appropriate action with branch if they have fallen out of compliance
- Monthly analysis of operational data and delivery patterns to ensure branches are operating efficiently; provide monthly reports to assigned branches
- Assist VP of Operations and Branch Managers with vehicle maintenance and vehicle replacement for assigned branches
- Assist VP of Operations and Branch Managers in maintaining compliance with applicable regulatory agencies (i.e. FDA, Board of Pharmacy, DOT, etc.) at assigned branches
- Oversee and assist assigned branches with staffing needs and issues; assist Branch Managers with disciplinary actions, hiring, termination and payroll of employees
- Serve as a resource and provide support to Branch Managers in the general day-to-day operations of assigned branches
- Assist the Chief Operating Officer with any projects that arise
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements:
- Education/Experience – High School diploma or general education degree; knowledge of oxygen and DME industry; 2-3 years experience with NRS and its operations preferred, 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
- Computer Skills – MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, Brightree and Webscan
- Language Skills – Ability to speak and communicate well with management, staff and customers; ability to read and interpret documents such as instructions
- Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Time Management – Ability to work independently, organize and manage multiple priorities with little supervision
- Safety/Security – Actively promotes and personally observes all safety and security procedures, and uses all equipment and materials properly
Physical Demands:
- Sitting/Standing – Prolonged (up to 8 hours/day)
- Typing/Computer use – Prolonged (up to 8 hours/day)
- Talking/Hearing/Seeing – Constant (up to 8 hours/day)
- Use of both hands and fingers – to feel, touch and type
- Occasional Travel to other branch locations
Equipment Used:
- Computer, keyboard, mouse, telephone, headset, other miscellaneous office supplies.
Work Environment:
- Indoors - temperature-controlled office/warehouse
