Retail Real Estate Leasing Associate

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Real Estate Leasing Associate. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about commercial real estate, is a self-starter, and is eager to learn. You will actively support the leasing efforts for one of downtown Seattle’s premier retail properties by working closely with senior leasing professionals to attract new tenants, assist with lease negotiations, and market the Property.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tenant Acquisition & Relations: Identify, qualify, and contact prospective tenants for available spaces, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless leasing process.

• Property Marketing: Support in creating and updating marketing materials, including property listings, brochures, and digital content. Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance visibility and attract potential tenants.

• Lease Documentation & Coordination: Prepare lease proposals, agreements, and documentation related to leasing activities under the guidance of senior leasing team members.

• Market Research: Conduct research on the local commercial real estate market, including competitive rental rates, tenant preferences, and trends relevant to the Property. Use this data to assist in pricing strategies and leasing decisions.

• Property Tours & Presentations: Schedule and coordinate property tours for potential tenants, providing them with detailed information about the spaces, amenities, and benefits of leasing at the Property.

• Tenant Communications: Act as a liaison between prospective tenants and the leasing team, ensuring timely communication, follow-ups, and responses to inquiries regarding availability, lease terms, and building features.

• Data Management & Reporting: Maintain and update leasing databases and track leasing activity. Generate regular reports to communicate prospective tenant pipeline and leasing progress.

• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the leasing team for tasks such as preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, managing files, and ensuring all leasing documents are properly organized.

Base Requirements:

• Hold and maintain a valid real estate license in the State of Washington or schedule within 30 days of being hired.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Etc.).

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3 years of commercial real estate experience.
• Experience in sales or business development.
