Northwest Safe Ride is a trusted non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) service dedicated to providing safe and reliable transportation for our clients. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for scheduling rides, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring smooth communication between clients and drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the dispatch of freight and transportation resources efficiently.
  • Utilize logistics and analysis skills to optimize routes and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain effective communication with drivers and clients via phone and digital platforms.
  • Input and manage data in transportation management systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Monitor and track shipments using GIS and GPS technologies, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance overall transportation planning and execution.

Qualifications

  • Strong logistics and dispatching skills
  • Excellent communication and phone etiquette
  • Proficient in typing and data entry
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems and supply chain processes
  • Experience with GIS and GPS technology
  • Knowledge of freight operations and fleet management
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Experience with Oracle Transportation Management and AS400 systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Weekends only

Work Location: On the road

Salary : $18 - $19
