What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESOURCE NURSE - FLOAT position at Northwest Specialty Hospital?
Northwest Specialty is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Resource RN to join our Inpatient Team!
**THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $2500 SIGN-ON BONUS**
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Resource Nurse will direct and/or provide professional nursing care for an assigned group of patients across the age continuum. In the role you will be an educational resource for the team. Utilize the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation to direct or provide nursing care. May function as a Charge Nurse at times, additionally may be asked to care for higher acuity patients. The Resource Nurse will need to project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining the confidentiality of the Hospital, patients, and employees as appropriate. Able to work under pressure and in situations that demand patience, tact, stamina, and endurance
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

5 years of relatable nursing experience preferred.

CPAN certification preferred.

BSN preferred.

Previous Vascular Access experience preferred.

Previous PICC placement experience preferred.

Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho is required.

Current AHA BLS.
-
ACLS and PALS Certification within 6 months of employment
