GENERAL PURPOSE
The Training & Equipment Manager collaborates with CTS Sales personnel to plan, organize, and schedule technical training programs. This role manages the labeling, storing, and tracking CTS training equipment and hardware across all sites. The Training & Equipment Manager is responsible for the facility scheduling and coordinating delivery of equipment for all CTS trainings. Additionally, the Training Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all curriculum materials and textbooks used by CTS.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine and address technical training needs through collaboration with CTS personnel focusing on the manufacturing and process industry.
- Maintain CTS storeroom and oversee lab supplies / equipment.
- Identify equipment in need of repair, coordinate necessary repairs, and orders parts if necessary.
- Coordinate facility scheduling, equipment coordination, and delivery.
- Ensure meticulous oversight of all curriculum materials by maintaining an organized electronic storage system, facilitating seamless identification when a specific course is conducted.
- Maintain the storage, lending, and return of all textbooks.
- Achieve annual income goals as specified by the VP of Workforce Development.
- Recruit, coordinate, and evaluate CTS training coordinators, part-time instructors, and part time curriculum developers in advanced manufacturing and technical skills training.
- Foster and maintain cooperative relationships with external entities, including business and industry (particularly in manufacturing and process industry), and explore partnership opportunities with other colleges and universities.
- All other duties as assigned.
