- Support related services staffing in NSSEO programs (PT, OT, SLP, AT)
- Provide leadership, guidance, and training to related service providers
- Supervise and evaluate related service staff across NSSEO
- Provide leadership, coordination, and clinical support to assistive technology, innovative learning, and related services teams (OT, PT, SLP, and nurses)
- Provide leadership and coordination to EL services (bilingual school psychologist and EL teacher) in NSSEO programs
- In collaboration with the NSSEO Professional Learning Department, support and deliver professional learning opportunities for all staff across programs and member districts
- Support IEP Best Practices district-wide, including access and training on IEP systems (Embrace)
- Maintain and manage an active list of curricular resources
- Member of the NSSEO Curriculum Committee
- Support the Assistant Superintendent of Teaching & Learning with the district-wide curriculum review process
- Provide oversight and coordination for district and state assessment (IAR, DLM, KIDS, ALT/ACCESS), including formal assessment inventory for related services
- Provide leadership and training with NSSEO’s ESP mentoring program
- Coordinate NSSEO CPR certifications and trainings
- Serve as NSSEO’s McKinney Vento liaison
- Provide leadership to teams implementing Sex Ed/Healthy relationships/Erin’s law
- Assume administrative and developmental responsibilities under the supervision of the NSSEO Superintendent for the planning, operative and evaluation of the programs coordinated.
- Assume other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Support NSSEO policy, NSSEO and governing board goals and objectives, and The School Code of Illinois.
- Valid Professional Educator License endorsed for Administration (Principal or General Administrator).
- Professional Educator License endorsed in Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) (PK-12)
- Special education supervisory endorsement or approval in Early Childhood.
- Educational leadership ability in overall program planning and implementation.
- Minimum of two years successful teaching experience in a cross categorical setting.
- Ability to travel within NSSEO and districts and move about NSSEO and district buildings as necessary.
- Knowledge of ISBE special education rules and regulations/IDEIA 2004.
- Experience in management and supervision of the IEP process.

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
This role of Program Administrator is dedicated to optimizing the delivery of related services, overseeing leadership, training, and support for assistive technology, while also collaborating on curriculum and assessment initiatives. Additionally, the position involves leadership in various areas, including mentoring programs, CPR certifications, McKinney Vento liaison duties, and the implementation of sex education and Erin's Law programs within NSSEO.
