We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of Electrical Engineering to join our Aerospace & Defense client's team to lead their growing electrical engineering team.
Job Summary :
As the Manager of Electrical Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and components for our client. You will manage a team of electrical engineers and work closely with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Viable candidates will have experience in VHDL / Verlilog coding for synthesis, FPGA / ASIC verification using SystemVerilog, UVM / OVM FPGA / ASIC verification methodology, experience with developing cryptographic security solutions for communciation products, experience in development and certification of Type1 / Type3 Secure products, demonstrated project leadership and management skills in embedded system and FPGA / ASIC design, and working knowledge of FPGA / ASIC development and verification processes. We seek a highly motivated self-starter, who works well in team environments and is willing to lead and mentor others. Solid technical writing skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts / solutions both inside and outside of the organization are necessary, as well as the ability to work efficiently with remotely located teams and co-workers
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and lead a team of electrical engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success and development.
- Oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as project management and procurement, to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and other engineering documents.
- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality of work.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service.
