We currently looking for a highly skilled candidate in the LEAD Logistics position on our Day shift (6:00am-4:30pm, Monday - Thursday (40 hours per week) with possible overtime on Fridays)
About the Role
We are looking for a Lead Logistics professional to join our team! This role is integral to the packaging, preparing, and shipping of products to customers while ensuring accuracy and quality at every stage of the process. Lead Logistics will oversee logistics workflows, manage project timelines, and ensure efficient and on-time shipping. If you are a detail-oriented individual with a background in manufacturing, shipping, or warehouse operations, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervisor in planning, prioritizing, and coordinating logistics and workflow.
- Prepare parts and pallets for shipment, ensuring accurate bills of lading and proper documentation.
- Ensure the correct stacking and protection of products to maintain quality standards.
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring deadlines and project timelines are met.
- Verify product count and conduct quality control checks before shipments leave the facility.
- Accurately input data into the ERP system (MIETrak) and track job activities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Delegate work effectively to department personnel and act as a liaison between the supervisor and employees.
- Oversee department quality control and ensure safety standards are consistently met.
- Train new employees and organize training schedules.
- Evaluate received materials for accuracy and quality and create packing slips and purchase orders.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring that all tools and machinery are properly maintained.
- Adhere to company procedures, safety protocols, and employee handbooks.
- Perform other tasks as required to support team and production goals.
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in driving a 26’ truck, or similar is preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse operations, or shipping/receiving preferred.
- 1 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Lean manufacturing experience is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work with a team and lead by example.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Physical Demands
- Regular lifting and moving of up to 75 lbs. (assistance available for heavier items).
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, fumes, and moderate noise levels.
- Visual requirements include close-up vision and depth perception.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
