Description
Northwestern Counseling & Support Services (NCSS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enhanced Mobile Crisis Responder to join our 24-hour mental health Emergency Services team. In this vital role, you will help provide emergency assessment, intervention, referrals, and follow-up services to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms. As part of our dynamic team, you will help provide mobile crisis supports within the community as part of a two-person response team to help ensure the safety and well-being of those we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency assessment, intervention, and referrals as part of a 24-hour mental health Emergency Services team.
- Collaborate with treatment teams and community partners to ensure comprehensive care for individuals in crisis.
- Refer individuals to appropriate community resources as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in crisis intervention, mental health services, or a related field.
- Strong assessment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
