Position Information:

Join our Registrar department as a Transfer and Academic Records Coordinator and play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and organized information for seamless operations. The individual in this position will process student records ensuring proper course registration with accurate personal data and evaluate prior learning to enable awarding of transfer credit. Other responsibilities include serving as the first point of contact for the Registrar's Office, responding to email, phone, or in-person inquiries using an understanding of policy, procedure, and university structure while providing great customer service.

Work Location: Bloomington, MN

Duties:

  • Evaluate credits earned at prior institutions and coordinate with program chairs for transfer credit eligibility.
  • Create and maintain transfer evaluation documentation.
  • Production and submission of official and unofficial transcripts.
  • Perform data entry to update student records with complete and accurate data.
  • Data integrity projects and other special projects as assigned.
  • Manage phone queue and email support.

What you need to have?

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required.
  • 1-3 years experience in office setting.
  • Previous experience in higher education or understanding of academic processes.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Moderate level of experience with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in multiple systems and software packages simultaneously.

Hiring Range:

Non-exempt: $19.81 - $24.26 per hour.

The hiring rate is determined by a combination of education, related professional experience, and internal equity considerations and may exceed the posted range. NWHSU is committed to fair and equitable pay practices and does not base compensation decisions on gender or any other protected status.
