Job Summary
- The Organizational Development Specialist maintains education records of all NMC and NMC affiliate employees. Plans and coordinates internal and external staff education programs; including new employee general orientation, student rotations, and shadow experinces. Develops training opportunities for Evaluates training effectiveness to ensure that education programs help the organization meet its policies, mission, vision, and values, strategic goals, the Joint Commission standards, and/or other applicable laws and regulations. Serves as primary administrator for hospital-wide online learning system.
- Bachelors degree and (3) years responsible experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating training programs.
- Experience in assessing, designing, delivering, and evaluating organizational interventions, assisting managers and employees with organizational change.
- Experience using eLearning and design technologies (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to develop online course and learning content and adopt to new technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively for patient and organization centered results.
- Knowledgeable of current trends in employee professional development.
- Experience facilitating group dynamics in training and work groups.
- Skilled in collaborating with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills required.
- Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Must possess a high level of initiative to complete tasks on deadline.
