The role of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support to the financial planners and operations in the firm and their clients. Specific responsibilities include but will not be limited to:
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Client correspondence and scheduling
- Team wide calendar management
- Assistance with team workflow management
- Contracting and licensing support for the team
- Internal team event planning & coordination
- General office management
- Assist with marketing materials as necessary
- Additional projects assigned by Leadership
GENERAL OPERATIONS
- Maintain updated and compliant files.
- Handle incoming calls to answer client requests for current accounts or direct calls to appropriate personnel.
- Document system and process changes.
Qualifications
It is recommended that the individual in this role have the following qualifications:
- Required: Life, Accident & Health License or passed within 60 days of employment
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business and/or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated computer experience required. Minimum 40-50 wpm
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to adapt to change, and identify process improvements
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
