The Client Service Associate is an entry-mid level position that is extremely analytical and detail-oriented to support our team of financial advisors.

The primary function of this role is to assist Lead Advisors and Associate Advisors by providing support in the service and sales cycle for both insurance and investment clients.

This role will work closely with all facets of the team and is client facing. Individuals in this role will serve as the liaison between the Network and Home Office, advisors, and clients.

This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and / or performing work activities.

Job Responsibilities / Principal Responsibilities

  • Communicate with clients to complete insurance and investment-related paperwork
  • Submit and manage the underwriting and account opening process for all applications
  • Maintain contact with clients to provide or obtain updated information
  • Review client-submitted paperwork for completeness and accuracy
  • Arrange medical, paramedical and any other exams necessary for underwriting
  • Completes client service requests in insurance and investment systems
  • Contact and advise clients regarding late payments and other service-related issues
  • Process incoming insurance service requests from clients : process address changes, bank change information, loan requests and ISA service inquiries
  • Correspond with clients to complete new account opening documents, coordinate asset transfers and document workflow throughout the process
  • Process incoming securities-related requests from clients : registration changes, provide account information (statements / tax documents / activity details)
  • Generate and / or review paperwork to be sent to clients
  • Conduct rollover calls between clients and current 401(k) plan administrator

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, insurance or related field
  • Insurance licensing : Arizona Life & Health, obtain within 60 days of start date
  • Public Notary Certificate, obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities autonomously
  • Extremely strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency (Excel, CRM, etc.)
  • Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to remain in stationary position 85% of the time; often standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally move throughout the office to attend meetings, access office machinery, and other office equipment
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and printer
  • Frequently communicate with coworkers and clients and exchange accurate information.
  • Constant repetitive motions that may include wrists, hands, and / or fingers
  • Additional Requirements

  • Pass an extensive FINRA background screening which may include, but is not limited to, criminal background checks (local, state, and federal), credit check, education verification, drug tests, skills assessments, interviews, and personality profile (behavioral assessment)
  • Tech-savvy with experience in both proprietary and mass-market systems
  • Must be at least 21 years of age of older
  • Legal authorized to work in the United States
