Investment Operations Associate

Full-time opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to be a part of a Wealth Management Team. We are a fast-paced practice with a small team atmosphere located in Manchester, NH. Our hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30-5pm. This role requires a variety of duties with an emphasis on investment client service. Candidate must display a high level of professionalism and a polished demeanor. We need someone who is assertive and looking for results, not excuses.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years investment experience
- Combination of Series 6, 63, or equivalents
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to look beyond the obvious and not stop at the first answers
- Ability to manage multiple diverse projects and assignments in a timely and quality manner
- Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software
- Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships with clients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to learn and attain Life Accident and Heath Licenses
- Background check is required
Roles & Responsibilities
- Preparing & processing all paperwork needed for investment, advisory, and variable annuity accounts
- Monitoring, processing, and following up via phone call and email on asset transfers and on initial and subsequent funding of investment, advisory and variable annuity accounts
- Completing rollover calls with clients to move client assets to our firm
- Completing trade requests and processing trade corrections when necessary
- Corresponding with clients to handle advisory related service issues
- Running performance reports in YCharts and company specific software
- Review investment and advisory paperwork, variable annuity applications, conversions and policy changes for completeness and accuracy and reach out to client for any missing information
- Deposit and process checks and related paperwork to the network office and home office investment operation areas
- Work with network office, home office and fund families to resolve client account issues
- Provide account values and performance reports to clients
- Gathering information for meetings with client/prospect
- Preparing advisory annual review information
- Preparing and modifying investment, advisory, and variable annuity proposals using ENV2, NetX360, and other software
- Preparing letter of instruction for client signature
- Preparing investment policy statement
- Recommending fund portfolio options
- Prospecting on behalf of the employing Wealth Management Advisor for new advisory clients
- Participating in client meetings for financial or investment plan development or presentation
- Responding to home office account inquiries
- Monitoring and stocking investment related marketing materials
Average Compensation
- Salary Range: Starting @ $70k - commensurate with experience
- Potential bonus available after 6 months of employment
